SAFETY & TRAINING

Forklift Annual Inspection

In accordance with the Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) all lifting devices must be inspected annually by a ‘competent’ person who is familiar with the Act and regulations that apply to the inspection. These individuals require knowledge of any potential or confirmed dangers that will affect health and/or safety within the workplace.

Our experienced technicians can provide comprehensive inspections to ensure your equipment meets safety regulations, as well as identify any defects or concerns that could pose as a danger within the workplace. We offer both Load-Handling Capacity and General Safety inspections.

Operator Certification

In Ontario, all forklift operators are required by Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act to attain certification that demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to safely operate a forklift. Operators must take a refresher course every 3 years to remain certified and continue operating a forklift.

Our team can provide education and training about safely operating a forklift, including theoretical knowledge and practical skills that meets the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) requirements. Authorized lift truck operators are evaluated and qualified to operate equipment such as:
COUNTER BALANCE NARROW AISLE
PALLET TRUCK AERIAL/SCISSOR LIFT
TELEHANDLER SKID STEER
Fuel Source: LPG/GAS, DIESEL, ELECTRIC

We offer on-site training; operators must provide proof of previous training (certificate, expired certified, or letter from employer). For more information about booking training, please contact us.
